1 Basics of Nutrition in Clinical Practice and Diet Planning Macronutrients, Micronutrients, Food groups, Calorific values of food stuffs, Ideal weight, Energy requirements, Body Mass Index, Understanding spectrum of Malnutrition, Gov. Nutrition Programmes, Use of WHO growth charts and plotting, Nutritional status specific diet menu planning using locally available food stuffs for improving nutritional status.
2 Diagnosis and Management of Nutrition related disorders in Children Understanding concept of stunting, wasting and undernutrition and its consequences, Diagnosis and management of undernutrition and concept of Nutrition Rehabilitation Center (NRC), Deficiencies of Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Iron, Iodine, Zinc, Diagnostic protocols, Treatment management and counseling.
3 Diagnosis and Management of Nutrition related disorders in Women Understanding undernutrition and over-nutrition in women, PCOS/PCOD, Diagnosis and management of Anemia in pregnancy, lactation, and non-pregnant women, Breast feeding, Complimentary feeding, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Iron, Iodine, Zinc deficiencies, Diagnostic protocols, Treatment management and counseling.
4 Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Childhood illnesses and Immunization Diagnostic protocols and Treatment management, Infection Prevention and Control measures, Immunization: National immunization Schedule, dose, route of administration and management of adverse events following immunization.

Fees structure –

Rs. 15,000/- and examination fees as per university rule.
